In just two years Fabio Orsi has been able to win over critics and the public by imposing his signature as one of the most promising and representative of the entire national and international independent scene.
A creative path inaugurated with the excellent "Osci" (SmallVoices 2005) which was followed by the excellent split "For Alan Lomax" (A Silent Place 2006) shared with My Cat Is An Alien and a couple of albums made as a duo with Gianluca Becuzzi: "Muddy Speaking Ghosts Through My Machines" (A Silent Place 2006) and "The Stones Know Everything" (Digitalis Industries 2007).
Today, as definitive confirmation of Fabio Orsi's talent, A Silent Place releases the long-awaited "Find Electronica", a solo album by the young Apulian author; a magnificently lyrical album structured on a long Ambient/Drone suite divided into two sections framed by the articulated central track, a very personal exercise on the theme of Weird Folk full of hypnotic seductive power.
Here the "found" electronics meets the moody sounds produced by the six strings, projecting enchanted landscapes of vibrant intimate sensitivity onto the sound horizon. Abstract and emotional, profound and dreamlike, "Find Electronica" is a work of great value capable of marking an important stage in the ascending artistic career of Fabio Orsi.
